Not a retreat.
Not a race.
A reckoning.

You've built the business. You've made the money. You've earned the comfort.

Now strip all of that away — and find out what's underneath.

The honest version

Most men are
under-challenged.
And they know it.

No yoga by the beach. No smoothie bar at the end of a hard day. No one adjusting the experience to fit your comfort level.

You won't be coddled. You won't be yelled at either. You'll be placed in an environment that simply doesn't care about your title, your schedule, or your excuses.

You'll face the elements. Your fears. The truth about who you are when everything familiar is gone.

That's not a threat. That's the point.

The decisions that changed everything — I made them somewhere outside. Never at the desk. Never in a boardroom. Always when I had nothing left to hide behind.

François de Neuville — Expedition Leader
What this is

Engineered
adversity.

  • Remote terrain that doesn't forgive mistakes
  • Physical strain designed to expose who you are under pressure
  • Wilderness navigation, survival skills, real consequence
  • Isolation — and what it produces in a man
  • Brotherhood forged under shared hardship, not shared drinks
  • Reflection under fatigue, when the ego has nothing left to spend
What this is not

Not a product
you consume.

  • Not a retreat where the hardest thing is the cold plunge
  • Not military roleplay
  • Not a box to tick or a badge to post on Instagram
  • Not for men who need the experience managed around their comfort
  • Not a place for men who haven't done the work to show up ready
  • Not cheap — because cheap attracts tourists, not men

Inside the expedition

Every element
has a reason.

01
Physical Pressure
Hiking with weight. Unpredictable conditions. Long days in terrain that does not care how fit you think you are. The body becomes the curriculum — and fatigue makes everything non-essential away.
02
Psychological Load
Uncertainty is designed in, not accidental. You won't know the full plan. Leadership will be demanded of you unexpectedly. You'll face decisions with incomplete information. Sound familiar?
03
Extreme Sports
Rafting. Rock climbing. Caving. Activities selected for their psychological edge, not their spectacle. The objective risk produces something no simulation can: a real physiological and psychological response.
04
Survival Skills
Fire. Navigation. Shelter. Water. Not as a course — as a reality. You'll learn by needing to know. The competence you build out here is permanent. It doesn't live in a notebook.
05
Brotherhood
Six to eight men go in. Six to eight brothers come out. What forms under shared hardship is not networking. It is the kind of bond most men stopped believing was still possible after their twenties.
06
Reflection Under Fatigue
The conversations that matter never happen in a conference room. They happen around a fire, after a long day, when there is nothing left to perform. Those conversations stay with you for decades.

You'll endure. You'll confront. You'll overcome.
Most men never find out what they're actually made of. You will.

Questions

The ones men
actually ask.

What exactly is the expedition? +
A 7 to 9-day wilderness challenge designed to push you physically, mentally, and emotionally. You'll hike, navigate, build fire, carry weight, and face unpredictable conditions — with a group of men who refuse to live soft. Expect early starts, long days, physical and mental challenges, raw conversations, and a lot of time away from comfort. Simple living. Full intensity.
Who is this for? +
Founders, CEOs, investors, operators — men aged 25–55 who have built something real and are honest enough to ask what's next. Men who feel the softening setting in and refuse to let it win. Men who want a real test, delivered by someone who knows the difference between genuine difficulty and pointless suffering.
What activities are included? +
Hiking, rock climbing, rafting, caving, survival challenges, team leadership exercises, and more. We don't reveal the exact program in advance — that's part of the experience. Each expedition is different. Sometimes we only hike. Sometimes there are surprises. The uncertainty is not accidental.
How fit do I need to be? +
You don't need prior expedition experience. You do need to be in solid physical condition and willing to push hard. The 4-week prep program you receive on acceptance will close most gaps. Show up having done the work.
Is it safe? +
It's demanding, not reckless. François runs a tight ship: Wilderness First Responder on-site for the full duration, satellite tracking, 24/7 global search and rescue coverage, pre-expedition medical screening, and emergency protocols in place before departure. You'll be pushed. You won't be put in stupid danger.
What if I can't keep up? +
If you were honest on your application and took the prep seriously, you'll be ready. This isn't about being the fastest or strongest — it's about refusing to quit. You're not expected to be a Navy SEAL. You are expected to bring grit, discipline, and the willingness to suffer a little. No one gets left behind. No one gets carried either.
What gear do I need? +
A full gear list is issued on acceptance. You likely have some of it. Budget for basics: tent, sleeping bag, mat, appropriate footwear. Nothing exotic. The preparation program will specify exactly what you need for your terrain.
What is the cancellation policy? +
The deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel the expedition. Before you commit, read the Terms & Conditions. We're not interested in men who aren't sure — so read carefully, apply honestly, and commit fully when you're in.
