By signing up for any expedition or Services, you acknowledge that:

• Activities involve inherent risks, including physical exertion, exposure to extreme conditions, injury, and in rare cases, death.

• You are participating voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your health, safety, and well-being.

• You will sign a mandatory waiver of liability before attending any expedition.

• You confirm that you are physically and mentally capable of completing strenuous outdoor challenges.

We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone we believe may jeopardize the safety or dynamics of the group. We strongly recommend consulting a healthcare professional before booking to confirm your fitness for these activities.

You are responsible for verifying your age (18+) during the booking process, and we may require proof of identity.

Fees for Services are as stated at the time of booking or purchase, in USD. For payments in other currencies, we use the exchange rate provided by Google (via Google Finance) at 12:00 PM UTC on the day of payment. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider.

Payment is due as outlined in your invoice. Late payments may incur a suspension of Services or additional fees, where allowed by law. All transactions are final unless a refund is expressly permitted under our Cancellation Policy or applicable regulations.

• A non-refundable* deposit is required to secure your spot.

• Full payment is due by the date specified during the booking process.

• If payment is not received on time, your spot may be released.

• All payments are processed securely through third-party providers. We do not store your full payment information.

*Should the expedition be canceled by us, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit, except in cases of force majeure (as defined in Section 5), political unrest, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable events, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy.

Participant Cancellation:

• Deposits are non-refundable.

• If cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the expedition start date, a partial refund may be issued (typically 50% of the remaining balance, minus any non-recoverable costs such as permits or bookings).

• Cancellations between 30-60 days before the expedition start date may receive a 25% refund of the remaining balance, minus non-recoverable costs.

• Cancellations less than 30 days before the expedition start date will receive no refund.

Refunds under this section are subject to our review of incurred costs; we will provide a breakdown upon request. We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of expeditions due to participant withdrawal mid-trip.

Company Cancellation:

In case of force majeure, political unrest, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable events, we may cancel or postpone an expedition. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to pandemics, wars, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, or severe weather events that prevent the safe operation.

You will be offered the choice to transfer your payment to a future trip or receive a refund (minus non-recoverable costs).

We may also adjust itineraries due to such events without liability, provided reasonable notice is given.

To request a refund:

• Submit your request in writing to hello@man-uncharted.com within 7 days of the event triggering eligibility.

• Include your name, service details, and reason for the request.

• We’ll review and respond within 5 business days, processing approved refunds within 14 days via the original payment method, where possible.

We handle your personal data in line with global privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA, LGPD, Australia’s Privacy Act). Your information (e.g., name, contact details) is:

• Collected solely to deliver and improve our Services.

• Stored securely and retained only as long as necessary (duration of service plus 1 year), unless legally required otherwise.

• Not shared without your consent, except as mandated by law.

We collect personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your data will never be sold. By joining an expedition, you consent to limited use of photos or videos captured during the trip for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt-out by contacting us at hello@man-uncharted.com prior to the expedition.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting hello@man-uncharted.com. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for obtaining:

• Personal travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and accidents.

• Some programs may include or require Search & Rescue (SAR) coverage, but this does not replace your personal insurance.

The Company assumes no responsibility for loss, injury, or damages incurred during travel or participation. Proof of adequate insurance may be required prior to departure.

By joining a Man Uncharted expedition, you accept that this is not a resort vacation; it’s an off-grid, high-intensity adventure in unpredictable environments.

You will be required to sign a detailed Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement before participating. The waiver is available for review on our website at www.man-uncharted/waiver and must be signed in person on Day 1 of the expedition. Refusal to sign the waiver will result in immediate removal from the expedition without refund.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chasing Excellence LLC (dba Man Uncharted), its founder, affiliates, employees, agents, and contractors are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, accident, illness, death, or any other claim arising from your participation, whether from wilderness conditions, extreme sports, wildlife encounters, weather, equipment failure, personal negligence, or third-party actions.

You acknowledge and accept that:

• Physical and mental challenges carry inherent risks.

• Medical services may be limited during the expedition.

• Evacuation, if needed, may be delayed and is not guaranteed.

• You are responsible for your own physical and mental preparedness.

our participation is voluntary and at your own risk. You are expected to follow all safety instructions and expedition guidelines. Failure to do so may result in removal from the group without refund.

While Man Uncharted may provide group coverage for Search and Rescue (SAR), this does not replace personal responsibility or medical coverage.

In any case, our liability shall be limited to the total amount you paid for the expedition.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claims arising from your actions or omissions during the expedition

You agree that any legal action you bring against Chasing Excellence LLC will be on an individual basis only, to the extent permitted by law. You waive the right to participate in any class action or representative action related to any dispute with us. This waiver applies to all disputes, including but not limited to those arising from our Services or these Terms

If an issue arises, we’ll aim to resolve it informally first. Contact us at hello@man-uncharted.com. Unresolved disputes will be governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles, unless overridden by mandatory local laws in your jurisdiction. Both parties agree to comply with applicable consumer protection rules. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Wyoming.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that state.

These Terms are crafted for global use but may be subject to additional requirements in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for notifying us of any local legal obligations that may apply.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site or participation in Services after updates means you accept the changes. We will notify you of material changes (e.g., those affecting payments, liability, or your rights) via email or website notice at least 30 days in advance, where feasible.
