I acknowledge that this expedition involves physical exertion, exposure to natural elements, remote environments, and participation in potentially hazardous activities, which may include but are not limited to:

• Hiking, paddling, climbing, or swimming in rugged and undeveloped terrain

• Exposure to extreme weather, wildlife, and unpredictable natural events (including force majeure events as defined in the Terms & Conditions, such as pandemics, severe weather, or government restrictions)

• Carrying heavy loads and enduring physical discomfort, fatigue, or injury

• Limited access to medical care or emergency services

• Lack of cellular/internet connectivity and isolation from urban infrastructure

I understand that injury, illness, emotional stress, or even death are possible outcomes of participating in this expedition. I assume full responsibility for these risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, including loss or damage to personal property.

I affirm that I am in good health and capable of participating in strenuous outdoor activity. I have disclosed all relevant medical conditions to the organizers, and I agree to provide ongoing disclosures if my health changes during the expedition. I understand that falsifying information about my health or fitness level may lead to removal from the expedition without refund.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Chasing Excellence LLC, Man Uncharted, its founder(s), employees, guides, contractors, partners, affiliates, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, including those for personal injury, property damage, disability, illness, or death, arising out of or connected with my participation in the expedition, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

This release does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct, to the extent such exclusions are required by applicable law.

I understand that it is my responsibility to obtain personal health insurance and verify emergency evacuation and Search and Rescue (SAR) coverage if applicable. I understand that the organizers may purchase group SAR coverage, but I remain responsible for knowing what is covered and for my own medical and travel insurance.

I agree to follow all instructions provided before and during the expedition, including the gear list, safety procedures, and group rules. I acknowledge that failure to comply may lead to my removal from the expedition without refund. I am responsible for my personal gear, behavior, and preparation.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, I grant permission for photos, videos, or testimonials featuring me during the expedition to be used for promotional, educational, and commercial purposes by Man Uncharted and Chasing Excellence LLC. I may opt-out by emailing hello@man-uncharted.com prior to the expedition.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Any legal dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that state.

I agree that any liability of the organizers shall be limited to the total amount I paid for the expedition, to the extent permitted by law. This limitation applies regardless of the nature of the claim.

This document, together with the expedition Terms & Conditions and any booking forms, constitutes the entire agreement. No oral representations or modifications shall be binding unless made in writing and signed by both parties.

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chasing Excellence LLC, Man Uncharted, and their founders, employees, guides, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, or legal fees (including attorney’s fees) arising out of:

• My participation in the expedition;

• My breach of any part of this agreement;

• My actions, conduct, or decisions during or after the expedition;

• Any claims made by third parties due to my participation.

This indemnity obligation survives the completion of the expedition.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

This agreement binds me, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and estate.
